A/V Mandate

Our premise is to forge a new form of cinematic experience by combining audio and video - live - in a way that has never been explored. The focal point of which is the creation of works where the audio and video components are composed and performed together with an awareness of each other’s inherent compositional characteristics. This means that ‘music videos’ are not in line with our mandate, nor are “visuals” performed to music, as they are too often video which only serves to accompany the music. Our mandate specifically requires that neither the audio nor the video serve the role of accompaniment, but that they work together to form a synergy of audio and video; of sight and sound; of music and cinema.

The sound and video are presented as a single, coherent thought.
